A Pre-Tribulation Rapture Is What the Bible Teaches ! 100% Proof Understand this one verse
1 Thessalonians 1:10 And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come. Paul was writing to Christians They were already delivered from the "wrath to come" John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. "which delivered us" this is in the future tense in the Greek "wrath to come" is not a reference to hell but to the Time of Jacob's Trouble (what is called "the Great Tribulation") Revelation 6:17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand? Notice the word “us” which includes all Christians the spiritual and the backslider. The Church is not ruptured but raptured! Jesus will deliver us out of here soon saints!
The Rapture and the Second Coming
John 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. Jesus comes for His Church Revelation 19:14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. Jesus comes with His Church At the Rapture, a resurrection will take place (see 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, 1 Corinthians 15:51-54) At the Glorious Appearing there is no resurrection spoken of (see Zechariah 12:10, Zechariah 14:4-5, Revelation 1:7, 19:11-21) The Rapture will happen in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye (see 1 Corinthians 15:52) The Glorious Appearing will be a slow coming. Everyone will see Jesus coming with great power and great glory! (see Zechariah 12:10, Matthew 24:30, Revelation 1:7) At the Rapture only those who are looking for Him (Christians) will see Him (see 1 John 3:2) At the Glorious Appearing every eye will see Him and those who have rejected Him will wail (see Revelation 1:7) The Rapture can happen at any time which is why we are to be WATCHING for the return of Jesus Christ (see Revelation 3:3, 1 Thessalonians 5:4-6) The Glorious Appearing will occur at the end of the seven-year period (see Daniel 9:24-27, Matthew 24:29-30, 2 Thessalonians 2:3-8) The Antichrist is revealed after the Rapture (see 2 Thessalonians 2:8) The Antichrist is defeated and cast into the Lake of Fire at the Second Coming (see Revelation 19:20) The timing of the Rapture is unknown (see Mark 13:32) The timing of Christ's Second Coming is known (the end of the Time of Jacob's Trouble) World famine, pestilence, war and sorrow follow the Rapture (see Matthew 24:6-10; Luke 17:31) World peace follows Christ's Second Coming when He reigns from Jerusalem (see Isaiah 11:6) When people read "caught up" they think of the word "rapture" the english word "rapture" comes from the Latin "raptus" meaning "seized" or "carried away" 1 Thessalonians 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. "caught up" the Greek word here is "harpazo" the same word is used in Acts 8:39 and 2 Corinthians 12:2,4 Acts 8:39 And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing. God translated Philip from Gaza to Azotus(ancient Ashdod) 20 miles(about 36 kilometers) to the north on the mediterranean coast. A type of "rapture" in a sense. 36 kilometers straight up could put You into space (1st or 2nd heaven) 2 Corinthians 12:2 I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven. 3 And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) 4 How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter. Paul had a unique experience. Can You imagine not knowing if Your in Your body or not? Some pagans believed in seven heavens but there is no bible basis for that belief. Most likely Paul was translated to the heaven where God's throne is. Another type of "rapture" in a sense. "Paradise" in the context would mean the third heaven, "Paradise" does not occur in the OT though it occurs in Lk 23:43 and Rev 2:7
